Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister is a fun, life-changing way to support a young person — and strengthen your community. With just a few hours a month, you can help ignite a child’s confidence, boost their academic success, and build a meaningful, lasting friendship.

You’ll be supported every step of the way by a dedicated Mentoring Specialist, offering resources tailored to your Little’s needs.

  • Celebrate with Us

    Celebrate a birthday or anniversary by asking your family and friends to, in lieu of gifts, make a donation; or send an ecard to someone special by donating today.

  • Attend an Event

    Join our community as we come together to support local kids and families. Register for one of our events or support a local business’s campaign.

    Host a Field Trip

    Host an on-site field trip for our matches to gain insight into your business, promoting learning, exploration and fun.

  • Gift Card Drive

    Host a gift card drive for a holiday or special occasion. Ask your employees, family, or friends to donate gift cards or tickets to be given to our matches to enjoy (i.e., movies, theater, music, sporting events, restaurants).

  • Jeans Day

    For businesses, consider hosting  weekly ‘jeans days’ throughout the year or a ‘Jeans January’. Every employee who donates to BBBSWIS joins the fun.

  • Join a Committee

    Like to work as part of a team? Join a working committee to help us plan and prepare for our events and match activities.

  • Lunch-N-Learn

    Host a Lunch-N-Learn at your office, church, neighborhood association, or sports club to help us raise awareness.

  • Matching Gifts

    If your company holds a United Way campaign, consider matching the total donations designated by employees and make a big impact on mentoring services in our community.

  • Volunteer

    We are always looking for volunteers to help us with office tasks, event preparations and ‘day-of’ services, as well as group match activities.
